I have found fern house surgery to be okay the receptionist do try and fit you in where possible for an appointment it is a very busy surgery I do try and book on line which I find very good and does save phoning as the lines are very busy. The nurses are very friendly and helpful and the doctors are all very good.

It is almost impossible to get an appointment by telephone. If emergency appointments are needed I was advised to ring at 8.30 am but each tie I have tried this it was constantly engaged or put in a never ending loop. In order to book an appointment face to face it is necessary to have to wait a inimum of three weeks. I am told an emergency aappointment 48 hours can be booked after 8.0 but have not been uccessful in obtaining such an appointment

The surgery and staff are excellent however I would be happier if I could get an appointment quicker then the current wait period.

These past years when having to use the health facilities, I have been most pleased with the services and the way they are offered. The new electronic system did take a little time to get used to but is quicker, and does seem to work ok.
